Head designer Guy Bedarida first found the inspiration for the Kali, Balinese for river, from the river that edges the John Hardy compound. The riverbed is lined with pebble-like stones are fished from below the water to pave the pathways winding around the property, echoing the stream's trail. Bedarida continues to reinterpret and evolve the collection with influences from nature including Zen gardens, yacht's chains and the flow of water over the rocks.
