William Henry Special Edition Monarch B05 1112 Flores Knife

The blade is 'Wave' pattern damascus, forged from nickel and stainless steel around a 'core' of ZDP-189 at Rockwell 65-67 for unparalleled sharpness and edge retention. As with any high performance blade, clean and dry after use.

The frame is made with Koftgari, a technique of hand-inlaying 24k gold into a tool steel frame. The gold is burnished into a fine grid scribed into the steel, and the frame is 'parkerized' to a deep brown/blue background. The tool steel frame has no stainless properties and care should be taken to protect it. Avoid exposure to wet, acidic or salty environments.

The scale/inlay is made up of fossil brain coral. This fossil coral, according to Geologists, is approximately 110,000 years old. found in abundance in Florida quarry mines, these exquisite scales are hand-picked findings which would otherwise be crushed and used in cement. Fossil coral is not living coral, therefore has no odors. As with any shell material, avoid impacts or dropping; no other care is needed.

This piece features premium natural gemstones, precision cut and set in an 18K gold bezels. The gems are mechanically captured in our stainless fittings, and will last a lifetime and more. no special care is required.

The fittings/fasteners on this knife are custom fabricated to our specifications from stainless and titanium. The lanyard bail and bolo are sterling silver paired with a braided leather cord and stainless steel beads. The ClipCase carrying system is crafted from fine lined leather with a tempered stainless steel clip.
